Admission and Deadlines

Who can apply ? 

Graduates of the engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics, business administration, and other related programs may apply. To start the program, candidates must satisfy the requirements of the English Language School (ELS). Please visit the https://els.tedu.edu.tr/en/els/exemption for more information.

Evaluation Criteria for the applications to the thesis and non-thesis programs:

• Cumulative Grade Point Average = 10%
• Interview Score =40% 
• ALES score=50% (Applicants to the non-thesis program do not have to provide an ALES score. In this case the ALES score is considered to be 70.)
• International applicants may submit GRE scores instead of ALES.

Applications

Applications are taken through the following link: http://admission.tedu.edu.tr.  Please upload the following documents with your application.

Required Documents:

1. Application Form
2. An up-to-date resume,
3. A scanned copy of the transcript from the most recent undergraduate institution,
4. A letter of intent 
5. A scanned copy of the ALES score document. International applicants may submit GRE scores instead of ALES. (Applicants to the non-thesis program do not have to provide an ALES score. In this case the ALES score is considered to be 70.)
6. English proficiency certificate (TOEFL-IBT, TOEFL-PBT,+TWE, KPDS, ÜDS, YDS, YÖKDİL, UCLES). *Click here for the equivalency table.

*All candidates who do not have an English Proficiency Certificate can take the TED University "English Proficiency Exam (EPE)". If the English Proficiency Certificate is not available at the time of application, it must be obtained by the registration date. All students should have their English proficiency documentation approved by the English Language School before submitting it to the institute.

Tuition Information

Tuition charges for each of the non-credit EM590, EM591, EM592, and EM 593 courses are the same as those for a 3-credit course. Thus, the tuition charges for thesis and non-thesis programs are calculated based on total credit values of 31 and 34, respectively. Scholarship Opportunities

Scholarships at various levels (25-100%) can be provided for students based on their success level in terms of the admission criteria of the thesis program only.  Click here for scholarship regulations.

Notes:

1. Requested documents must be uploaded completely.
2. You can re-enter the portal to upload documents for an incomplete application
3. Interview date will be announced via email.
4. In case of detection of deceptive information provided during the application and/or registration, all rights gained will be forfeited even if the applicant has been admitted to the program or registered.
5. Students cannot register for multiple graduate programs simultaneously except for those without thesis.
6. ALES requirement for applicants with a doctorate degree: An ALES score is not required for those applicants with “PhD / proficiency in art / specialty in medicine / specialty in dentistry /
